Vettes versus the Dragon is an annual gathering of Corvette enthusiasts from all around the country who want to drive their cars like they were meant to be driven. Believe it or not, driving your Corvette is way more fun than talking about it in a parking lot lawn chair!
The Tail of the Dragon and area roads, are widely considered to be bucket list drives and some of the best in the world. Come join some locals who have spent countless hours on these roads, enjoy a weekend in the gorgeous Smoky Mountains, and check taming the Tail of the Dragon off of your bucket list!

DESCRIPTION
Eastern Tennessee and Western North Carolina are home to the greatest driving roads in America, including the legendary Tail of the Dragon. This whole mountainous region is covered in fantastic roads, so we will cover the famous roads you’ve heard of, and also the equally fantastic roads only locals typically know. Every Vettes versus the Dragon event travels different roads and will have totally different routes, with each day covering at least 200 miles. Being local to these Great Smoky Mountains allows us to provide value packed events where Corvette enthusiasts from a variety of backgrounds are treated to driving roads that are second to none! On our drives, there is nothing else to think about. We have done all the planning: selected routes, written driving notes, identified fuel stops, found discounts at area hotels and eating spots! All you need to do is show up and be prepared to drive! It’s like a Cars and Coffee, where you actually get to drive!
